Professional Baseball Player
When I grow up I would love to play professional baseball. I know not a lot of athletes will make it to the major leagues but I think I might have a pretty good chance. I have played baseball since I was 3 years old and I am on my high school varsity team and I have been on varsity since I was a freshman. Baseball is my passion and I also play other sports like football and basketball but I don't like them as much as I like baseball. The reason I like baseball so much is because I am pretty good at it and it is the best sport in the world. Also baseball players in the major league average on making more money than almost any other sport. Another thing is in baseball there are not as many ways of becoming injured as there are in other sports so that means I could play longer and have more money. If I did become a professional baseball player I would get to meet all of the other great baseball players. Another thing is though if you plan on playing sports for your life you have to have a back up plan or a plan B, my plan B is to become a physical therapist because that is still in the sports industry and it would be a fun and well paying job.
I think you can make it as a professional baseball player, you just have to stay persistent with it and make that a number one priority. I think it's smart how you have a plan B though. You'd still have that sports aspect to it if you ended becoming a physical therapist.

ReplyDeleteJonathon I think that it is great that you have dreams of becoming a pro baseball player. I also believe that if you continue to work hard you will make it to the Major League. Lastly, it is good that you have a "plan b" just in case you don't become a pro player you will still have a job that you enjoy, but most likely you'll be on the field.
